As most of you already know, we received our waiver via email just a few minutes before 10am this morning. Let me first just say how thankful I am that we received it today, and that it is on its way back to Michigan. (I have been talking with another AP, and it took her 2.5 weeks to receive the waiver after the VP).
So anyways, after speaking with the head office on Tuesday, we decided that once we received our waiver to have it sent back to them with same day shipping. We needed to receive it by 9am, so we could sign/notarize the document and drive it to fedex by 9:30. After sitting in front of the computer for over an hour, and still no news, I became very inpatient. By this point it was too late to ship it back to them that day. I was so upset and was about to lose it. Then right before 10am the email came across...that is when I DID lose it. Instead of being thankful that we had in fact received it, I just became very angry. Why couldn't it have came through earlier? Why didn't they send it directly to us, instead of making it go through Indy first? Why can't fedex have a later appointment? Why is it too late to drive to Michigan? Why are there no flights out of Louisville to Michigan today? Why, Why, Why???
Once I was over having my little pitty party, I realized...as hard as it was...that it was obviously not God's plan for us to have this document in Michigan that day. So, I just put my trust in God and let him take control over the situation...He knows best right?
Then a dear friend of mine sent me an email with this verse..."And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 I thank God every single day for letting our paths meet. She has helped through the struggles of each day, and helps to bring a smile back to my face. I am so thankful for her and so glad to call her my friend. Thanks Mandi!!!
