Having another one of those days

Our agency has put us on another roller coaster ride. I am praying this is the last one I have to ride. Just when I get the "thrill" of what these next few weeks will bring, the ride turns upside down, twist and turns and I just want to throw up.

We contacted our agency on Friday to see when they thought our waiver would arrive, and if it was possible for us to drive to Michigan that day to sign and notarize the waiver in person. They told us that they have no time frame as to when the document will be received...couldn't even give me an estimate. From what other's we have contacted said, the form usually arrives two days after VP, so we should receive it on Friday. We wanted to be there first thing that morning, so that they could send it to Korea the same day. This way Korea would have it on Monday and we could potentially get our TC by the end of next week:)))

They basically told us they don't know when they will recieve it, and there is no need for us make the drive up there. As soon as they receive it, they will overnight it to us, we overnight it back to them, and then they will overnight it to Korea. "No time will be lost"...yeah right. By the time all of that takes place, Korea wouldn't receive it until Thursday or Friday of next week. Why waste all of those days? I just don't get it.

The form is sent via email to them, and we asked if they could just email it to us...saving at least one day. They said they could, but that is not the norm. Who cares what the norm is...if you can do it, then do it. We also asked if we could just send it to Korea ourselves saving yet another day. "No, I really need to look over it and make sure it was filled out correctly". Yeah, because I don't know how to spell my name or date a paper...ughhh! "Can we fax a copy of it to you before we send it"? "No, I would realy like to see it in person". THEN LET US DRIVE TO MICHIGAN SO WE CAN SEE YOU IN PERSON AND SIGN IT IN FRONT OF YOU!!! Sorry, having a really bad day.

So we made one last attempt, and called the head office directly. I bet they can't wait to be done with us...lol. Anyways, Justin explained why we are so concerned, and asked if we could send it same day shipping...don't even ask about the cost. That way she could receive it back in her office on Friday and sent it out that evening. She said that as long as we didn't mind paying the cost, she would do everything she could to get it to Korea by Monday. Now, if that is really what happens this will be one happy momma.

We will keep you posted. Please pray everything works out for us and this baby boy his home soon!
